The long awaited arrival of the Audi A6 is finally here. The 2011 Audi A6 stands as that automaker's ambitious attempt to keep up in the competitive world of performance luxury vehicles. Audi has tried very hard to keep its vehicles modern and desirable for drivers, while revving up its customary comfort and safety features. With the 2011 A6, the company has assembled one of the finest luxury cars on the market. This entry is sure to compare favorably to its fierce in-class competition. Since 2009 and onward the Audi A6 received a few significant changes to its exterior. The front of the vehicle has a moderately altered front and a noticeable restyled tail end compared to other models. The taillights have been replaced with brand new R8 lenses that supply superior visibility through fog, smog, rain, or snow. The vehicle has new fog lamps on the front lights, the front bumper has been redesigned, and contains larger air intakes on both sides of the grille. The vehicle has also changed to an all wheel drive, as opposed to the older front wheel drive vehicles.
With an MSPR at $54, 630, the Audi A6 comes with a hefty price tag. Prospective auto buyers will get a lot of value for that price, though. The vehicle features a customarily high-performing Audi engine, which tops out at 265 horsepower. It is a 3.2 direct-injection FSI built for power and efficiency. The new A6 comes complete with Audi's multitronic CVT, a creation that has paced the field for luxury transmissions. Its front-track, front wheel drive system makes for fine handling and a smooth ride.
